Time flies today last day of July realize i didn't post anything actually all photos are uploaded , i was thinking want to blog during Hari Raya holiday too many program going on drag till now ..haiz
Saw my friend post Pandan Chicken in Facebook, she say no difficult lar..so i tried it out....we all loved it!! Just need time to wrap it with pandan leaves one by one!!
1 piece of chicken breast (deboned and skined cut it into abt 2" slice)
10-15 pandan leaves for wrapping cut into abt 4" each
*ground the below ingredients:
1 stalk lemongrass, white part
2 cloves garlic
2cm knob ginger
1/2 tsp ground turmeric powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
2 tsp light soy sauce
1 tsp fish sauce
1/2 cup coconut milk
1/2 tsp Thai ground chilies (i bought it market form Thai women)
1. Marinate the chicken with the 'ground ingredients and seasoning' for 2 hours the best overnight
2. Wrap the marinated chicken with pandan leaves and secure it with toothpick
3. Heat the oil, deep fried it till golden brown, kitchen will full of aroma of pandan.
To me this is a very good 'finger food' for party. you will non stop eating it.
